Club Updates & Events
All Club meetings begin at 7:00 PM and are held at the NMDG&F Conference Room,
2715 Northrise Dr., Las Cruces, NM. Doors open at 6:30PM

Please note:
General Membership Meetings are not held in June, July, or August. During these months, we will offer fly tying lessons twice each month in place of the regular meetings. The next Regular Club Meeting will be April 14, 2026. Dr. Wiebke Boeing, Aquatic Ecology Professor at NMSU, and the student who will be the 2026 recipient of our Mabie Legacy Endowed Scholarship. Dr. Boeing will give an overview of her NMSU program. The student recipient will share her educational goals and career ambitions at our April Club meeting. We are very much looking forward to meeting her and recognizing her accomplishments. Cookies and Coffee will be served. See you soon.
About Our Club
Mesilla Valley Flyfishers (MVFF) was founded in April of 1987 by a group of Las Cruces residents who had an interest in fly fishing.​ Click here to learn more about Our Organization.​
Club Membership
Membership is open to anyone who supports the club's activities. Members can attend informational monthly meetings and purchase fishing access permits to MVFF-leased waters.​

Fishing Permits
Members of MVFF can buy permits to fish in the leased waters of the Rio Peñasco. The fee is $25 per day.
